JAIPUR, India – The International Gem & Jewellery Show (IGJS) kicked off in Jaipur on May 10, 2022, gathering leading Indian gemstone and jewellery exporters in a showcase aimed at international buyers.
The event, running until May 12, 2022, was previously scheduled to take place in 2020, but had to be cancelled due to the pandemic.
“IGJS Jaipur is a classic example of the government’s campaign to ‘Make in India for the world’, and the show will boost our efforts to reach USD 75 billion in exports in the next few years,” said Colin Shah, Chairman of the Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC), organiser of the event.
