LONDON, February 17, 2013 – Treasure, the UK’s definitive jewellery show for visionary contemporary design and the key consumer event for Jewellery Week (7-16 June), returns to the iconic London venue of Somerset House for a second year, from the 14th – 16th June 2013.
Treasure, jewellery show for contemporary design, returns in JuneShowcasing over 130 talented jewellers from across the UK and Internationally, selected for their cutting-edge design and innovative use of technology, Treasure offers visitors a unique insight into the craft with an opportunity to meet the designer-makers and buy the very best jewellery design, in one of the finest venues in London.
From paper to perspex, wood to gold, silver to leather, diamonds to ribbons, through to the more traditional use of precious metals and gemstones and with inspirations drawn from the likes of Tanzania, Parisian love letters, bumble bees to Billingsgate fish market – the latest jewellery designs on offer will be something to treasure and flaunt! From the fine to the fashionable and with prices from £30 – £5,000, there will be something to suit all tastes and budgets.
Following the success of 2012, Treasure will once again be curated with five jewellery galleries: Fashion, Design, Emerge, Fine and Essence and ‘jewellery trails’ which can be followed to discover more pieces.
Visitors can choose to enhance their ‘Treasure’ experience by attending one of the “Audience with…” talks from the brightest stars in the jewellery world or by taking advantage of one of our VIP ticket packages, giving express entry into the show, access to the private VIP lounge, Champagne, goody bags and special lunch discounts at ‘Toms Kitchen’ at Somerset House.
The exhibition will feature prominent UK and International jewellers, as well a host of exciting new emerging designers including: Momocreatura, Liz Tyler, Elizabeth Raine, Jessica De Lotz, Alice Menter, Imogen Belfield, Bill Skinner, Jayce Wong, iKuria and Michael Berger’s kinetic rings.
