UK’s Company of Master Jewellers (CMJ) plans return to Trade Events in 2022

Britain’s Company of Master Jewellers (CMJ) retailer buying group has announced its plan to return to physical Trade Events in 2022.

The Spring Trade Event will bring the group back together for the first time in two years.

The two-day event will be a belated 40th anniversary celebration, with an opportunity for members to stock up on new spring/summer collections from suppliers as well as attend a glamorous ruby-themed black tie evening event.

Its Autumn Trade Event will take on an exciting new look and see the CMJ move to a brand new venue – Silverstone. The CMJ will be using this new venue to launch a new aspirational formula for its events to take the group into the modern era.

Emmet Cummins, Managing Director of the CMJ, said: “We are looking forward to bringing the CMJ family back together again from next year. Feedback from our members has been very positive since reopening, so we believe that by 2022 members will be keen to see newness and invest in new collections.

“Our Spring Event will be an opportunity for CMJ members to reconnect and join us for an unforgettable celebration to celebrate 40 years in the industry. Meanwhile, Silverstone will provide us with the opportunity to inspire and enthuse with an exciting new formula, where we plan on taking the CMJ Trade Event forward to a whole new level.”
