Their talk will advise JBN Members on how to ensure the different voices within their business are heard and valued, including a best practice approach to embedding the internationally-recognised ‘5 Voices System’ into the retail business culture. During the session, attendees will learn how to recognise the power of their own business voice and learn how to transform their style of communication to bring out the best from their staff and wider team.

The DRPG team comprises over 380 specialists across 10 locations in Worcestershire, London, Windsor, Leeds, Manchester, Germany, Ireland and the United States. It has appeared in the Sunday Times Best 100 Companies to Work For list and has been awarded the Investors in People Platinum standard. As a qualified practitioner in a range of psychometric tools, including Occupational Personality and Ability tests, 5 Voices and Myers Briggs, Hanna will also be on-hand to answer retailer questions and explain how to support staff as they grow and develop, both personally and professionally.

Parmenter says: “The 5 Voices has become an integral part of our learning development and day to day culture. Originally 5 Voices was only to be used for the Senior Leadership Team, however when we started to see the positive impact it had on the team, we rolled it out across the entire company. We look forward to sharing our story with NAJ Summit attendees.”

With the mission statement “grow your presence, grow your people, grow your profit,” this year’s one-day Retail Jewellers’ Congress will focus on the themes of digital growth and staff empowerment, as well as general business-boosting advice.

Michael Donaldson, JBN facilitator and organizer of the Retail Jewellers’ Congress, comments: “JBN members set the agenda for their Annual Congress. This year’s poll on their 2021 challenges saw digital replace staff as their number one issue with 40% of the vote, up from 31% in 2020, whereas staff maintained its status as a business priority with 38% of the vote – both topics will be addressed by experts at this year’s Congress.”

Business owners wishing to enhance their knowledge of digital, including PR, Google advertising, social media and influencer marketing will find a range of dedicated talks at the NAJ Summit on Sunday 12th September, as part of the schedule of Better Business Seminars.
