January 19, 2013 – White Pine Trading LLC, one of the largest recycled diamond trading companies, has announced that it will host four Global Diamond Sales Events during the first quarter of 2013.
The events are scheduled for January 15th–16th, January 30th-5th February, February 12th-13th in New York with a further event scheduled for March 5th-8th in Hong Kong.
The company, with offices in Birmingham (UK), New York and Barcelona, serves manufacturers, pawnbrokers, refiners, and retail jewellers looking to sell their diamonds and achieve market prices through competitive buying.

The introduction of sales events to customers in the United Kingdom is expected to complement White Pine’s existing recycled diamond buying operations in the country.
Tim Phillips, White Pine’s European Director, said, “We have seen rapid growth in the recycled diamond market over the past year.  This growth has also been observed in White Pines’ Sales Events held regularly in New York and Hong Kong.
“The recycled diamond market has rapidly become a force in the global diamond supply chain, and opening these Sales Events to British businesses is another exciting development for White Pine.”
The Company believes that selling through White Pine will allow companies located in the United Kingdom to gain exposure to some of the industry’s biggest buyers and achieve premium results through competitive buying and bidding at the events.
“Our Sales Events attract some of the world’s largest jewellery manufacturers and diamond dealers who are looking for large volumes of diamond.  We are pleased to extend this service to an even broader base of customers looking to sell their diamonds at a competitive rate,” Phillips said.
White Pine’s Sales Events show approximately 30,000 to 40,000 carats of diamonds — in all shapes, sizes, qualities, and quantities — to a select group of global buyers looking to purchase diamonds in bulk.
