Yoko London joins V & A Pearls exhibition
LONDON, September 7, 2013 – Yoko London has announced its participation in the upcoming V & A and Qatar Museum Authority exhibition Pearls, opening on September 21, 2013.
Famous for the colour, size and rarity of their pearls and their bold, contemporary designs, a selection of Yoko’s creations will be featured in the V & A exhibition.
Co-curated by jewellery historian Beatriz Chandour-Sampson and Hubert Bari from the Qatar Museum’s Authority, the exhibition will explore the history of pearls from the early Roman Empire to the present day.
A family business that spans generations, Yoko sources the most unusual pearls in the world, specialising in large, rare, natural coloured South Sea pearls.
