MUMBAI – Booths were packed with visiting buyers as India’s largest jewellery trade event, IIJS Bharat Premiere, kicked off.

After traditional flag and lamp lighting ceremonies, retailers from India, the diaspora and beyond packed into the booths at the Jio World Convention Centre, with enquiries notably buoyant in the manufactured gold jewellery area of the show, which is organised by the Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC).

IIJS Bharat Premiere is one of the biggest jewellery trade events in the world and is a showcase for the latest in Indian jewellery manufacturing technologies and design.
The event runs in two locations, Jio World Convention Centre, and the Nesco exhibition complex, until August 10, 2026, and features a wide variety of educational and topical panel presentations and talks.
