Company of Master Jewellers adds three new retailers

BIRMINGHAM, England, February 12, 2017 – The Company of Master Jewellers (CMJ) has announced its approval of three new retail members: Jacobs the Jewellers in Reading, You and Beyond in Stamford and Neville Jewellers, which has stores in Cork and Limerick.Jacobs the Jewellers is an award-winning independent jewellery and watch shop, specialising in diamond, precious and coloured stone jewellery, and prestigious watch and jewellery brands.

Speaking of his decision to apply to join the CMJ, co-owner Adam Jacobs said: “We are looking forward to joining like-minded, forward-thinking retailers and being part of a proactive network that is attuned to modern retail.”

Established in 1999, Neville Jewellers has enjoyed rapid success, growing to include four jewellery stores across the city of Cork, as well as a shop in Limerick.

Meanwhile, contemporary retail jeweller You and Beyond is an independently owned shop situated in the heart of Stamford, Lincolnshire, offering customers brands including Pandora, Swarovski and Guess.

Following the announcement, CMJ chief executive Willie Hamilton said: “We are delighted to welcome these three high-quality independent retail businesses to the CMJ. They are all very different businesses but very successful in their own right – a demonstration of the breadth and depth of our growing membership.
